FRIENDSHIP

The year is finally coming to an end and one of these girls is about to graduate from High School. Gabby and Tisha have been friends for the past 3 years now and the two are completely inseperable. They met by simple chance and realized that they shared so many things in common. The two of them had no idea that they were going through the same troubles. And when they found out that they were able to talk to each other about anything. They began by writing each other long, one page notes and calling each other late at night, when that certain somone hurt their feelings. Now that the year is almost over and Gabby still being a Junior, the two of them will have to go their seperate ways. Tisha off to college and Gabby finishing up her last year in high school. Hopefully the two will cross paths once again and that they'll continue being friends way after high school.

BILLY

He was a victim. A victim of the school, a victim of his community and a victim of the world's biggest bully. Billy has always been a quiet little kid, somewhat of a nerd. He would always be the first one to class and the last one to leave. He raised his hand to ask questions about everything and had always been the top of class. As a freshman in high school, he was very smart. But with every intelligent child comes the big mean bully that follows behind him. The bully went by the name of Bruce. He was the meanest, largest kid in school. He was also in the ninth grade, but originally was supposed to be a junior. He got into so many fights and disagreements that he was held back.

When he came across Billy one day in the hallway, he pushed him into the locker and demanded that he hand over his homework. Billy refused and ended up spending lunch time in his own locker. Bruce continued to harass Billy and Billy still put up with it. There was even an incident where Billy was locked in the boys bathroom until the janitor showed up. The janitor reported what he saw to the Principal and Billy was called to the office for a conference. After spending about 30 minutes with the Principal Billy was released. He refused the rat his bully out because he had other plans.

The next day, Billy sabotaged Bruce's locker. When he opened the locker door he was hit in the face by honey followed by pink feathers. Bruce was furious. He went to the water fountain and tried to wash it off and as soon as he turned it on, it began to foam with soap. Bruce was so embarrassed as students when down the hallway laughing at him. After the whole incident, he somehow found out that Billy was the person behind all the evil pranks. Bruce was ready to take care of business and really wanted to hurt Billy. But before he could get the chance to, the other students of the school came to his rescue. Bruce was outnumbered and the students all ganged up on him and made him feel like he made Billy and the rest of them feel. Bruce felt helpless and after that day, he never bullied again.

INTERESTING STORY: "ROOTS MAN"

Thirty two year old Dede lives in a remote villlage in Indonesia with two children. He may seem to be living a normal life, but in reality he is growing "roots!" It's true. This Indonesian farmer suffers from a disease where root like structures grow out of his body. The branches grow up to 5cm a year. The roots grow from his hands and feet and welts appear all over his body. His job cut him loose and his wife deserted him. In order to make a living, he works in a circus as "Tree Man."

Not all hope is lost though, he still has some support from his extended family. There is even a doctor out there willing to help him. Dr. Anthony Gaspri of the University of Maryland has claimed to have identified the condition. He says it has been caused by HPV(Human Papilloma Virus). According to Gaspri, the virus was able to "hijack the cellular machinery of his skin cells." This means that they produced large amounts of the substance that caused the growing of the "roots." If Dede uses large amounts of synthetic Vitamin A he wil be able to use his hands again.

MIXED SIGNALS: A STORY TO CHEER UP THAT ((SPECIAL FRIEND!))

Have you ever been in a situation where a guy confesses his love for you, but tells you he doesn't want to commit to you? Has the same guy ever said that he wants you to be his "wifey," but wants to mess with other girls? (creeeeeep!) Well, you're not alone and neither is my good friend Anika.


See what had happened was, this guy named Devon hurt my friend in the worse possible way. (and if you're reading this guy...ima find you, because no one hurts my girl!) It seemed as if he was wearing a mask like the Phantom of the Opera. He never expressed his true feelings to her and was always back and forth between her and ten other girls. To the naked eye, you would believe that Anika and Devon were a couple, but in reality, they weren't. He would always hug her and kiss her, tell her his deepest secrets and call her right when he got off of work. Or, when ever his heart desired. (Now doesn't that sound like "wifey" material to you?)


Anika and Devon came together over a materialistic object, in other words a green phone. Green happened to be her favorite color. She asked him if she could see the phone and he said sure with a weird look on his face. He thought this girl was "koo-koo bananas." She was loud, crazy, but oh so lovable and as he got to know her, he began to fall hard for her. (Or so we all thought!) Six months, or a "second trimester," had gone by and this time they had gotten extremely close to the point where she was head over heels in love with him! (aww, how sweet!...I guess) Then suddenly, she discovered the UGLY truth about him. The two had gotten into a disagreement that changed everything. (creepy music: dun dun dun!!) It got explosive to where the two became instant enemies(dun dun dun!)


Devon went onto live his life as a "pimp" and Anika was left heartbroken and alone.(are you reading this buddy? you broke her heart!! good job...NOT!) Recently, Devon seemed to have a change of heart and wanted to break the silence between the two. (What do you think she did? A. did she forget it all and talk to him or B. did she female dog slap him?) Well, she did neither! Instead, she gave him a dumbfounded look when he tried to talk to her after so much time had gone by! (do yerr thang girl!)

JUDGE ORDERS DEFENDANT'S MOUTH TAPED SHUT!

In Pocatello, Idaho the judge apparently lost his patience with the defendant and ordered for him to have his mouth duct taped shut. The absurd move was ordered by Judge Peter D. McDermott during a probation violation hearing for Nicklas Frasure. Frasure was convicted of felony theft in 2008, but due to a mental disability the judge retained his jurisdiction. He is accused of violating his probation by not taking his medication. He has also been consuming alcohol, which has begun to alter his moods. During the hearing, Frasure interrupted the proceedings with repeated verbal outbursts and unusual behavior. Even after being told to keep quiet, he continued with the interruptions. That is when the judge ordered the bailiff's to silence him. The bailiff's found a roll of duct tape, ripped a piece off and plastered it on his mouth. It was later removed at the end of the hearing with Frasure asking, "You want to arm wrestle?" as he was being led out of the court room.

It was a beautiful morning and Julie had just woken up. She grabbed her silk robe, slipped her feet into her slippers and hopped out of bed. She just looked once again and walked away. She had to carry on with her errands. A couple hours later, she turned the corner to head home and she saw James again. Deviya and Dev have been sweethearts ever since they were children. They grew up believing that they would marry each other in the future. But fate had other plans for them. Catherine Kent, 27 and her partner Kevin Gray, 28 were truly devestated when they found out that Catherine had a miscarriage. It was said that the child had passed away after eight weeks and doctors wanted to give Kent medication to shorten the miscarriage. Kent didn't accept the pills, but instead wanted to wait until the baby passed naturally.

One month later she went for a scan and was shocked to find out that the baby was still alive and doing well. The couple were thrilled with the great news, but were furious at the Sunderland Royal Hospital for causing so much problems. Catherine said: "What if I had taken the tablets they offered me? They could have left my baby severely disabled, or it could have died?" They were very upset that the hospital could have nearly killed their child. Kent also said she had fallen into depression and cried for the child she thought she lost.

She later sent a letter to the hospital and has still been waiting for an explanation. A spokesman said: "We are looking into the complaint and will be responding to her concerns as soon as our investigation is complete."

Amarah, a magazine reporter for "Wedding Times" was chosen to cover the wedding of the year of Mr. Dev Kistamma. Kistamma is one of New York's wealthiest Indian men and his wedding was going to be a grand affair. Amarah was assigned to go stay at the house of the bride to be and get some insight for the wedding affair. To her surprise, the bride to be cousin was one of her best friends back in college. Nintendo motion control accessory

Nintendo plans to launch a new accessory for the Wii. The Wiii Motion Plus will provide more accurate motion controls. The accessory is planned to be launched in the U.S. on June 8th. According to the Japanese video game company the Motion Plus will attatch to the exisiting Wii controller. The cost of this new device is at a decent price of $20.00. Also, in July Wii plans to launch the game "Wii Sports Resort." The game cost about $50.00 and will come packaged with a Wii Motion Plus control.

I COULDN'T FIT IN MY COFFIN...

Police in South Carolina are investigating whether a man's legs were severed so he could fit in his coffin. The victim James Hines passed away in 2004 due to skin cancer. Reports say Hines was approximately 6 foot, 5 inches. The Cave Funeral Services were said to have taken extreme measures to make him fit in the coffin. Officicals have examined his body and have found "undesireable evidence", but no further comments have been made. The coroner's office have handed the case over to law enforcements for for further investigation. The Cave Funeral Service has no comment about the matter and the family of Hines aren't sure what they are going to do if the allegations turn out to be true.
